Umeå Airport enhances connectivity for residents, businesses and essential public services in northern Sweden and plays an important role in connecting the region with the rest of the country.
Umeå Airport has a unique location due its proximity to the centre of Umeå. Over the years, it has experienced a number of reconstructions and extensions, and during 2008 the airport underwent yet another comprehensive rebuild when the airport terminal was renovated.
Opening hours
The terminal opens 2,5 hours before the first departure and closes 30 minutes after the last arrival.
